Item Description:

Time relay with accuracy from 1 to 90 seconds.

Dimensions(plate) - 33mm/16mm/13mm

Relay output: 20А/12V DC NO contact - wired

10A/12V DC  NC contact - not wired

Wired with 10 cm wires:

Red - positive 12V+

Black - Negative 12V-

Two white  - Normally open contact of the relay

Orange - activating 12V+ input - to contact switch

Blue - negative activating - 12V-

Power:  +  ,  -  Have protection against reverse supply voltage.

Power supply - 12V DC

Time is adjusted by trimmer. You can use small screwdriver - rotate clockwise - decrease time, counterclockwise - increase time.

Timer don’t have power consumption when it is in standby mode – ( open relay)

Principle of work:

When power is on, the relay wait for filing a 12V+ pulse, or 12V - pulse at activating input. When it is received - timer is activated ( relay will close the contact between the two white wires) and keep that position, until end of set time.

By filing new pulse - cycle repeats.

Timer can be used for delay off car front lights:

- orange wire is wired to contact switch

- Feeding must be permanent +(red) and -(black)  comes from car battery, trough 1A fuse

- One white wire - to Front light

- Second white wire - to 12V+

- Other wire from front light - to 12V -

When contact switch is on – it will send 12V+ to the timer and it will close the relay( the lights will come on). When contact switch is turn off – the timer will start countdown and lights will stay on for the set time ( up to 90s). Then it will go off.

Please note – if power consumption of the lights is more than 20A, must be placed separate powerful relay at the place of bulb at the schematic, to avoid damage of the timer.
